Moving towards perfection

Before 1989, sliding doors had a poor reputation: built-in tracks were noisy, wobbly, prone to jumping off, and hard to slide, so they were used only when necessary, not as a design choice.

In January 1989 Luigi De Faveri founded ECLISSE to change that. Building on work from a 1960s metal workshop, the company focused on research and industrial development. Over 30+ years it grew through innovation and teamwork, expanding its product range and improving production and processes.

ECLISSE’s breakthrough was a pocket sliding door system fully integrated into the structure: strong, easy to install, and free of the old problems. That made sliding doors practical and attractive to designers, saving floor space without sacrificing design.

Today ECLISSE is a leading maker of frames for pocket and flush or splayed hinged doors, producing up to 1,500 frames daily, with more than 30 agencies, 2,000 distributors in Italy, 10 subsidiaries, and over 20 distributors worldwide.

Details make the difference

The top technology for advanced sliding pocket door systems. ECLISSE redesigned frames for superior efficiency and looks. Their quality shows during installation and daily use; the small details—easy installation, precise mechanisms, and refined appearance—stand out up close. ECLISSE models combine high-tech features and careful design with one goal: to hide the door.
